The Stormwater Industry Association is calling for entries for the 2009 National Excellence Awards for Stormwater Management. These National awards are open to all organisations and individuals irrespective of the size of the project or the qualifications of the individuals. The awards are judged for their originality, innovation, actual and/or potential benefits, cost effectiveness and contribution towards environmental sustainability in stormwater management. Five Awards are available which include;

•  SIA Award for Excellence in Stormwater Management/Initiatives Entry fee $330*

•  SIA Award for Excellence in Stormwater Research Entry fee $330*

•  SIA Award for Excellence in Stormwater Education Entry fee $330*

•  SIA Award for Excellence in Aquifer Storage & Recharge Entry fee $330*

•  SIA Award for Excellence in Stormwater Harvest and Reuse Entry fee $330*

All award applications are assessed by panels of judges drawn from the fields of Environmental Management, Engineering and Urban Planning. The awards will be presented at the annual SIA National Awards Lunch hosted by SIA NSW on Monday, 16 th November 2009 at the Dockside Function Centre, Darling Harbour. The presentations will provide a forum for the winners and other finalists to demonstrate their contributions to stormwater environmental excellence. We hope you will join us for this rewarding event.

The closing time for entries is 5pm Wednesday, 4 th November 2009
