Who is organising the conference?

The Stormwater Industry Association is the convenor of the 2010 conference. Further information on the Stormwater Industry Association can be obtained by visiting www.stormwater.asn.au

GEMS Event Management are Professional Conference Organisers who have been engaged to assist in the management of the Stormwater National Conference. GEMS are members of Meetings and Events Australia and the Professional Conference Organisers Association. Further information on our company is available at www.gemsevents.com.au

 

Who should attend the Conference?

The Stormwater 2010 Conference Program has been designed for the following stormwater professionals:

• All levels of government, with interests in environmental management, planning, construction, education, community services, engineering and research
• Civil and consulting engineers
• Surveyors and urban planners
• Civil construction contractors
• Universities and research institutions Service industries to the environment, stormwater and the water quality industry

 

What are the conference dates?

The Conference will be held on the 9th - 12th November, 2010 at the Star City Hotel and Casino, Sydney, NSW. The Conference Welcome Reception will be held on the evening of Tuesday, 9th November, 2010.

 

How much does it cost to attend?

Full details of the Early Bird and Post Early Bird delegates fees are available on the “Register Online” page of this website.

 

Can I share my full Conference registration with another person?

Splitting of full conference registrations is not allowed under any circumstances. Delegates who only wish to attend one day of the conference must register as day delegates.

 

Can I just attend one session on one day of the conference?

No. The minimum registration for the conference is a Day Delegate Registration Package which covers one full day's conference attendance. Delegates cannot registration to attend a single session or a half day session.

 

Can I cancel my registration?

All cancellations must be advised to GEMS in writing (either by fax or email) before the cancellation can be processed. Registrations can be cancelled up to the Conference Cancellation Date of Thursday, 30th September 2010 and will be refunded less an administration fee of $115. Registrations cancelled after the cut off date are fully payable.

 

If I need to cancel my registration after the cancellation date, can another person from my organisation attend in my place?

Yes. Such changes must be advised to GEMS in writing (either by fax or email) by no later than 5 working days prior to the commencement of the conference.

 

Do we have a discount of groups for more than one person?

Discounts are available for the second and subsequent members of any organisation. Please refer to the registration fees for second and subsequent members on the “Register Online” page of this website.

 

How do I get to the venue?
